Pink October in Vauvert

As part of Pink October, the month of awareness of breast cancer screening, the CCAS, the Démoniaks, the Roses du Gard, the League against cancer and the l'Adresse foundation offer you a program combining health, sport and festivities over three days.

The pink dress code is also being rolled out in the city, where municipal buildings and fountains are playing the game.

Saturday, October 4: Catch your breath with the Pink Loop

The day begins with the pink market , Place Dr Arnoux in front of the Halles Marie Grasset. Several prevention stands will be present: the Démoniaks, the League against cancer, the Roses du GARD and the l'Adresse foundation.

Notice to walkers and runners, the meeting is set for 1:30 p.m. , Place Dr. Arnoux, to register for the traditional Boucle rose race of the Démoniaks de Vauvert (bibs on sale at €5). No physical effort can begin without warming up, which is why from 2 p.m., participants are expected for a Zumba demonstration , before the start of the pink loop at 2:30 p.m. More information from the Démoniaks at 06 13 04 50 60.

Sunday, October 5: Meet up to play

What could be better than playing for a good cause? A lottery will bring together the participants expected in large numbers at the Bizet Hall from 5:30 p.m.

It will consist of 8 quines at €60, 1 full card at €200, 1 full card at €300, and 1 full card at €400. The refreshment bar and raffle will benefit the association Les Roses du Gard.

Friday, October 10: 100% girly evening!

Pink will be the order of the day for the girly night, a 100% girls' night to enjoy a good meal and dance to pop rock covers by the band Alter Ego. Meet at 7 p.m. in the school canteen. Admission is €10 (including the buffet and concert), and the profits will be donated to the League Against Cancer.
